Donations are greatly appreciated!

Since moved into its new home on the web in 2003 after spending a couple of years as a section of, we have updated and expanded content as the years went by. Additionally, as construction progresses new signage is being added and/or replaced and sometimes new traffic patterns are the rule, especially as a result of recent widening projects that have taken place. As you are now seeing, we have given the site another good makeover using the best in web design software and we still continue to give the site a makeover as needed.

Unfortunately, it takes money to make this website happen as the costs for maintaining this website come out of my own funds. You may think that I may add a “premium content” section like some of the newspapers and magazines (such as the St. Petersburg Times/Tampa Bay Times) are increasingly doing on the web. Not so here.

In fact, I have not considered such a thing since this website went live in 2003. Besides, you are already paying for Internet access to your Internet Service Provider every month (along with the myriad of other bills you have to pay, too) and charging for access (or even asking for registration information for access) to is not a good idea. I believe in the idea that the World Wide Web should be free and open for everyone.

However, if you definitely like what you see here a donation would be greatly appreciated so that I can continue to bring you this content. To help in this regard, I have teamed up with PayPal to provide a secure avenue if you wish to donate to help keep around for years to come. If you cannot donate for any reason, I can understand. (After all, we have budgets we have to stick by too!)
